Minus ten

M_nus, the most typographically satisfying (and environmentally aware) minimal techno label in the Germany, will be ending its ten weeks of silence on the 22nd March for a ten year birthday party at Fabric. Label head Richie Hawtin, along with stablemates Gaiser, Magda, Troy Pierce, Rebekah Aff, Adam Beyer, Marco Carola and Craig Richards will be doing what needs to be done, before heading for the city where the heat is on.

Girl tour

If it's been a hard seven years, Gregg "Girl Talk" Gillis will be playing The Red Rose, N7, for a one-off on March 3rd to remind us all that bits of great music and bits of rubbish music played together makes for hella fun mega dancing times. Night Ripper (released next week) may make you want to bang a pack of Ritalin and have a lie-down, but he's as good live as this obligatory youtube suggests, honest.

New(ish): Old Music Site

This site launched late last year is a great idea and looks good too. Billing itself as 'the world’s first ever all digital reissue label' Anthology aims to 'provide an online outlet for rare and out-of-print music of all eras, genres and cultures.' Makes sense to me.
