Seeing as we've just launched the new site and just put out our first single on the brand new Dummy Records it seems entirely appropriate that we organise some nighttime activity to celebrate. And so it goes that on Friday March 13th Dummy is taking over The Queen of Hoxton inevitably in London's Shoreditch and putting on some stuff we've already covered on the site and some stuff that we will be covering anytime now.
The Golden Filter play live who you may know from Dummy's excellent first single release 'Solid Gold' (still available to download from the site for free). In addition we have Manchester's hottest new band Delphic (check 'Counterpoint on their Myspace to find out what all the fuss is about) also playing live, who you will be hearing more of via the Dummy site very soon.
Manning the decks are the awesome Heartbreak, Dan Beaumont from London's hottest club Disco Bloodbath, Johnno from the infamous Bugged Out, Alex Bean from one of Dummy's favourite blogs Lost in Paris plus some guys called Chris Blue and Bruce Leo.
Fancy it?
Friday March 13th. The Queen of Hoxton, Curtain Rd, London EC2. 8pm-2am. Free before 10pm, £3 after.
