Going on from their recent awesome-art-vaguely-related-to-music exhibitions John Squire: New Work and
Edwyn Collins: British Birdlife (which was really moving),
The Smithfield in Farringdon are hosting
United Visual Artists' series of light-filled balloons photographed at night in post-industrial landscapes, which is called Deus. As their day job, UVA make light-based art for – among others – Warp Films,
Massive Attack,
Battles, the
Dissonanze Festival in Rome and, perhaps more surprisingly,
Arctic Monkeys. Uh, the pictures look really good, don't they?
