I'm sure this is no secret really, but yesterday I stumbled upon the profile of Steve Goodman, alias dubstep producer Kode 9, at the University of East London. And by University of East London, I don't mean, figuratively, Rinse FM, but the actual University of East London, where he's a Lecturer in Media Production and Course Tutor for the MA in Sonic Culture. How many dubstep producers have an MPhil in Criminology and a PhD in Philosophy? And I wonder if his students know about his double life?
